Ras Kushbowy a reggae/dancehall superstar from the eastern region has revealed how displeased he is on how some event organizers disrespect acts in the name of big platforms.
According to him some event organizers or planners thinks they are giving acts opportunity when they bill them.
“They say we are upcoming and they bill us to give us an opportunity to perform or to showcase our talent”.
In his words he said acts are also treated with disrespect even if they accept to perform for free.
In his conversation he said that being an upcoming doesn’t me you are not a musician and that you don’t need to be paid.
“We also pay studio fees and pay for promotions for our projects, so put some respect on our names when you bill us” he said.
Ending his conversation he called on all upcoming acts around the globe to rise and demand respect when they are billed.
