Kwashieman is gradually gaining the recognition for churning out great musical talents accross genres. The newest sensation from this suburb of Accra, is Big Eli Dee – a growing Afropop/Hip-hop artist who believes his music inspires people to achieve greatness and love more.
On his debut EP, The Kwashieman Legend Mixtape, Big Eli Dee presents to us 4 songs which will be released one after the other until the launch of the EP in May 2021. Track 1 titled Kwashieman Legend is already out and available in all stores. Track 3 titled Abrantieee is inspired by the new Kumerica drill and is set to be released on 26th November 2020. On this drill beat Big Eli Dee features 3 unique rap artists – OohCooley, Idi Amin & Kojo Flint as they express their hustle on the streets of Kwashieman through music and finesse.
Abrantieee is a combination of two akan words, Abranti3 (Young Man) + Tie (Listen). As it clearly suggests this song calls on young men of today to be extra vigilant, for life is short and it’s easy to lose track of it all.
